System Configuration and Operation:

  • To protect against complete site failure, a fully redundant disaster recovery system is deployed at another site.
  • This site has an exact replica of the Centric server configuration. linked by two high-speed IP connections.
  • Each system contains up to the minute Centric configuration information via replication of the corresponding databases.
  • For the business continuity architecture configuration, there are two sets of core servers deployed, one at the primary location and one at the secondary location. The core servers are configured to run concurrently via DNS load balancing or in an Active - Passive mode.
  • In case of a failure of the primary site, the secondary site would maintain service with no loss of capacity. The overall system is controlled by a set of core servers.
